Charles Nabholz, Chairman Emeritus

Along with Chairman Bill Hannah and CEO Greg Williams, Chairman Emeritus Charles Nabholz guides the Nabholz Charitable Foundation in giving back to our communities. As the brother of our founder, Bob Nabholz, Charles has consistently guided Nabholz with integrity and humility, instilling these values in Nabholz employees throughout his 61 years at the company. Just in time for Thanksgiving, Charles shared what he’s thankful for this holiday season:

I am thankful to be associated with such a wonderful group who live and breathe the Nabholz guiding principles of Safety, Quality, Service and Innovation.

I am thankful for the outstanding number of loyal clients whom we have the privilege to serve each and every day.

I am thankful for our fantastic team of constructors who “deliver the goods” from groundbreaking to grand opening.

I am thankful for the smiles and compliments I so often see and hear from our satisfied customers.

I am thankful for the “above and beyond” efforts being made every day to meet the needs of our clients and communities.

I am MOST thankful for all who exhibit and promote the reputation for “Integrity” which Nabholz has enjoyed for the past 66 years.

Bill Hannah, Chairman of the Board

Before becoming Chairman of the Board in 2014, Bill Hannah served as Nabholz’ CEO for twelve years. Bill began his career at Nabholz in 1972 and worked under the tutelage of Bob, Charles, Tom, Ed, and the rest of the Nabholz family. In his 43 years at Nabholz, Bill has seen the company grow and change dramatically, and has often been at the helm, steering towards sustained, ethical growth. Bill took a few moments to put pen to paper and share what he’s thankful for this holiday season:

From my office I can see an American flag waving gracefully atop a neighbor’s flagpole. As I reflect on the flag,  my appreciation for all the freedoms and opportunities we have in this country—like the freedom to live, worship, work, and play as we choose—grows deeper and deeper. It also makes me more actively appreciate all the men and women, past and present, who give their all to provide us with these freedoms.

Likewise, I’m grateful for all of the people at Nabholz. They also give their all—on the jobsite, in the shops, and at our offices—to deliver on the promises of integrity and value we make to our clients and partners in this amazing industry. I feel blessed in many ways . . . to be surrounded by family and friends, to work with good people, and to be a part of an ethical company.
