Nabholz Receives Prestigious 2015 Build Oklahoma Award

January 28th, 2016 - By

We’re proud to announce that the Tulsa Jewish Retirement and Health Center (TJRHCC) has received the prestigious Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Oklahoma 2015 Build Oklahoma Award, in the category of Healthcare Construction. According to the AGC, the Build Oklahoma project awards represent the “best of the best” commercial building projects for the year. An independent panel of judges strategically review each of the nominations and make their selections based upon a strict set of criteria.

The project’s 20+ phases of construction consisted of a new 10,353-square-foot Town Center, two living and dining areas at 1,700-square-feet each and an indoor saline hydrotherapy pool. The 135,591-square-foot renovated space included 43 patient rooms, three nurse’s stations, a four-story assisted living unit with 59 individual apartments, and a three-wing healthcare center. The overall concept of the project was to create a comfortable and integrated atmosphere, where all tenants felt like part of a friendly neighborhood. The new modern artwork, technology upgrades, sleep features, and design has created an engaging facility for residents and visitors alike.
Curt Hellen, Project Executive for the Tulsa operation of Nabholz, along with Nabholz project team members and the owner representatives for TJRHCC attended the event held January 16, at the Hyatt Regency in Tulsa to receive this honor. Hellen stated “We are incredibly honored to receive this award and honored to have worked with Tulsa Jewish Retirement. The entire Nabholz staff showed real talent and heart while updating this senior living community. We built true friendships with the owners and residents alike.”
