Rogers, Arkansas – Nabholz is pleased to announce Mike Cook has been hired as the new Regional Quality Director for their Central and Southwest construction operations. This region includes the company’s Northwest Arkansas, Southern Missouri, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City projects.
Nabholz hired their first quality director in 2010, with the goal to further increase the focus on quality control. The department is now headed by Corporate Quality Director Jeff Cumpston, with three regional quality directors.
Cook brings almost two decades of industry experience to this new position. After graduating from Alma High School, he attended Oakland Community College in Detroit, Michigan, later dedicating his career to studying structural and civil engineering. Cook achieved certifications from the Kugan Institute in San Diego with US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), as well as Naval Facilities and Command (NAVFAC). He also holds a Construction Quality Management certification and an OSHA 30 certification from the Great Lakes OSHA Education Center. He is currently seeking certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s accreditation program.
Cumpston said Cook joined the quality team in December 2021. “With his Army Corp quality training and experience, he is a great addition and already having an impact as a resource to our project teams in the region.”
