Nabholz is pleased to announce J.R. Robl has joined their team as a business development officer for the Kansas City area. Originally a farm boy from Ellinwood, Kansas, Robl holds a degree in Political Science and Marketing from Kansas State University, as well as a master’s in public administration from the University of Kansas.

With ten years in the AEC industry under his belt, he also brings with him skillsets in community collaboration and proposal writing.  Robl has certifications from the Economic Development Institute and the Community Development Corporation and is a member of the Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership program, as well as a graduate of Leadership Overland Park.

Nabholz Executive Vice President of Business Development Ron Ferris remarked, “I have known J.R. for many years — until he came to work for Nabholz we were actually competitors in the area. Over the years I gained a great deal of respect and admiration for him and couldn’t be happier to have him on our team now.”

When asked about his new position, Robl said, “Meeting new people and transferring energy into a project is my favorite part of my job. I am always on the go. I can easily be confused as a go-getter; but I am a go-giver. I give everything I have on a project.”
