City of Conway Fire Station #3

City of Conway Fire Station #3 is an 8,142-square-foot build that began October 2022 and finished a year later in October 2023. This new station will be named after former Conway Fire Department Chief Doyce Ballard. This station, along with its new location, will give the firefighters faster and safer access to the major arterial roads in Conway.  

Nabholz completing the following under the scope of construction manager: 

  • Three-bay apparatus area with AIRVAC 911 System 
  • Two bunk rooms 
  • Sleeps four (per bunk room) 
  • Built-in millwork/wardrobe for each firefighter  
  • En-suite bathrooms with showers  
  • Captain’s suite  
  • Private sleeping quarters  
  • Built-in millwork/wardrobe for each on-duty captain  
  • Built-in millwork/study area  
  • Day room/living area  
  • Open-concept kitchen/dining area  
  • Patio with privacy fence/ gate  
  • Office/radio room with access to the apparatus bay and living quarters  
  • Bunker room with gear grid lockers and turnout washers  
  • Laundry room  
  • Tool room with work benches/area  
  • Entrance foyer a with public restroom
