HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital FSER

Our Nabholz team constructed a 10,860-square-foot freestanding emergency room (FSER) in DeLand, FL for HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital. Designed by Hereford Dooley Architects, this facility extends the hospital’s emergency services to better serve the surrounding community with accessible, high-quality care.

The project scope included:

  • Site excavation, paving, and landscaping
  • Installation of utilities, site signage, and underground decontamination and propane tank
  • Lab room, pharmacy area, and trauma room
  • Exam rooms, an imaging suite, offices, and associated support spaces
  • Exterior insulation and finishing systems (EIFS)
  • Emergency and ambulance canopies, generator, and dumpster enclosure

By delivering both critical infrastructure and patient-centered spaces, Nabholz ensured that this new FSER provides HCA with the resources needed to expand emergency care in DeLand and surrounding areas.
