The Oasis Fresh Market was made possible through a variety of funding mechanisms including the City of Tulsa, U.S. HUD Community Development Block Grant Funding, and multiple private foundations. This grocery store is on a mission to eliminate food deserts. They will be providing improved access to fresh, affordable food to citizens located in North Tulsa, which is a low-income area with limited access to grocery stores.
Nabholz performed the following scope for the project as construction manager:
- Full-service deli counter
- Demonstration kitchen
- Multipurpose room
- Main grocery displays areas
- Walk-in beer and wine fridge
- Diary cooler
- Meat prep and cooler
- Produce prep and cooler
- Freezer area
- Receiving and dock area administrative offices and break room
- Public restrooms
Construction began in July of 2020 and was completed March 2021.
