When the University of Arkansas wanted to construct the country’s first large scale mass timber residential hall (later named Adohi Hall), they chose Nabholz to get the job done. In turn, some of our most seasoned construction professionals traveled across the country, across the ocean, and back to school to become experts in all things mass timber and cross-laminated timber.
Two members of the Adohi Hall project team, EVP Rob Dodd and Sr. Project Manager John Strack, are putting that knowledge to good use. They recently delivered a presentation on Adohi Hall at the Texas Gulf Coast Conference.
On March 4, Rob will participate in an “Innovation in Structural Materials” panel discussion BuiltWorlds Conference in Houston. On March 25, Rob will be at the International Mass Timber Conference in Portland, participating in the Track 2 panel discussion on “Preconstruction and Installation: Understanding Cost and Schedule Impacts.”
We’re convinced mass timber will play a large role in the future of building materials, and we’re happy to let our experts share their knowledge. Here is the conference information.
