Thanks to Ron Ferris for representing Nabholz Construction Services at the 2012 Kansas Preservation Alliance Awards For Excellence.

Although now named the Independence Middle School this 1923 facility was originally named Independence Jr. High School.

The project was awarded the 2012 KPA Honor Award for Rehabilitation and was presented by Christine Johnston, KPA Board Member. The award was accepted by Chuck Schmidt, Superintendent of Independence USD 446 as the entire group stood center stage before a crowd of 125 in Topeka, KS.

We appreciate the Kansas Preservation Alliance for the recognition and every Nabholz employee involved with this outstanding project.
