Nabholz was hired to build this 122,000-square-foot middle school as a part of a three school bond program. The project featured renovations and improvements to the existing middle school which had to be carefully completed due to the school’s place on the National Register of Historic Places. The school became a recipient of the Kansas Preservation Alliance 2012 Honor Award for Excellence for Rehabilitation after its completion.
