Kansas City Team Awarded for Safety, Quality Construction

November 30th, 2015 - By

Earlier this month, more than 250 members of the ABC Heart of America Chapter gathered  to recognize outstanding projects and safety programs at the Excellence in Construction Awards banquet. We’re thrilled to report that our Kansas City team received several standout accolades throughout the evening’s presentation.

Superintendent Steve Kepler and Project Manager Robby Manthei were recognized as Top Field Employees and presented with an Excellence in Construction award for the Lawrence College and Career Center. The Lawrence College and Career Center project, submitted in the ‘Institutional – Over $5 Million’ category, was awarded top marks for the team’s ability to work with multiple design partners, navigate critical design and structural changes during preconstruction, and provide solutions that did not hinder their ability to deliver the project on time for the start of school.

The ABC Heart of America Chapter also recognized Nabholz as a Platinum Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Award Recipient for the company’s continued commitment to safety and quality excellence. And, a special surprise for our team that night, Nabholz  received the distinguished honor of being awarded the 2015 General Contractor Chapter Safety Award.
