Recently, Nabholz was honored by a request from InnPack LLC of Memphis to move printing press equipment from their Memphis location to their new Olive Branch facility. Our Industrial Services team performed this turnkey plant relocation using a multi-phase approach so that InnPack’s production would not be affected by the move.
The project required our team to disconnect the air system, disassemble the presses, and then load and transport all of the equipment to its new home in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Upon arrival, our team offloaded, reassembled, positioned, and reconnected all of the equipment inside the new facility. In total, the project included moving eight presses and associated equipment, with some pieces weighing close to 40,000 pounds.
The biggest challenge of the project was no doubt the schedule. It was absolutely critical that our work never interrupt InnPack’s production schedule. Luckily, we were working with fantastic clients. The owner was a pleasure to work for and actively participated in the scheduling process to help our team work around the facility’s schedule. After the equipment move, InnPack asked our team to take on another project at the new location—after all of the equipment was in place, the team got to work installing new trench plates at InnPack’s new facility.
As always, our team enjoyed another opportunity to work for a new client in our growing Memphis market. Thank you to InnPack LLC for a great experience!
