Conway, AR – Nabholz Project Manager Lance Wright was recently selected to serve on the National Construction Leadership Council Steering Committee for the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). Wright will serve on the committee through 2018.

Stuart Oaks, current CLC committee member commented, “We are very excited to welcome Lance Wright to our Steering Committee in 2015. Lance brings many years of experience working for Nabholz Construction, who has a great tradition of supporting the AGC. To see the impact that Lance will have within our group, look no farther than what he has done at the local level. He is currently spearheading a community service project with the First Tee Program and is helping get them access to a nearby water source to get them off of City Water. This will save the First Tee upwards of $10,000 a month and allow them to run a much stronger program for the youth that they serve. Lance has coordinated efforts of various contractors and city officials to make this work. He was also instrumental in starting a new student chapter with the University of Arkansas Little Rock. The student chapter was created last year and Lance is involved in the curriculum, student competitions, etc. Considering community service and education are two huge priorities for our group, it seems that Lance will be a great addition to our group.”

Brad Hegeman, President of Nabholz’ South Central Operations added, “Lance is a tremendous asset to our company and our industry as a whole and has served AGC of Arkansas in a number of leadership roles. His leadership, organizational, and planning skills, combined with his passion for the construction industry, will make him a valuable contributor to the National CLC Steering Committee.”

Wright has over 11 years of construction experience. He earned his bachelor’s degree in construction management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and his master’s degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Lance is a LEED® AP BD+C, an AIC Certified Professional Constructor, and a Green Advantage™ Certified Practitioner. Lance is also Chairman of the Future Leaders Division of AGC of Arkansas.
