NIS Sets Outdoor Gym To Honor Hero

June 25th, 2013 - By

Nabholz Industrial Services recently transported and set a steel CrossFit gym (pictured above) at the beginning of the Weaver Mile, a one-mile section of the Tucker Creek Walking Trail, located in Conway, Arkansas, dedicated to Navy EOD Tech Scott Weaver. Weaver was wounded in an IED explosion while serving our country in Afghanistan and received both a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his heroic actions. The community of Conway showed their appreciation to Scott during a dedication ceremony held last September.

If you live in Conway–or if you’re ever in town for a visit–and want to challenge yourself to the Weaver Gauntlet workout, make your way to the Salem Road entrance of the Tucker Creek Walking Trail and get ready to do some serious push-ups, pull-ups, squats, and more. Bring one to three friends because the Weaver Gauntlet is all about TEAMWORK!

The gym was fabricated by SFI in Conway.

From all of us at Nabholz, THANK YOU Scott for your service to our country!
