Nabholz Adds Railroad Services Group

Oxford, Conn. – Nabholz Corporation has recently added railroad services to its expanding list of service lines. With this addition, Nabholz is now a single-source provider of turn-key machinery installation, relocation, design, fabrication, and maintenance for all types of railroad equipment.

In January, Nabholz’ industrial operation opened a new location in Oxford, Connecticut, which houses the main office for the railroad services group. The team working out of Connecticut includes multiple service engineers with 20+ years of experience, allowing this new division to provide both routine maintenance and emergency repair for rail shop equipment from multiple manufacturers.  The range of expertise covers hoists, turntables, transfer tables, drop tables, shim carriages, and more.

In addition to these services, Nabholz will now design and manufacture its own line of rail shop equipment, including drop tables, portable jacks, car hoists, and turntables. This equipment will be produced in the company’s full-service machining and manufacturing facility in Rogers, Arkansas and can be customized to meet clients’ needs.

Stephen Schumacher has been appointed manager of this new service line for Nabholz. Schumacher has 25 years experience in manufacturing engineering, many specific to the railroad sector, serving most recently as the vice president of new product development for Macton Corporation. Schumacher is based out of Connecticut.

 

 

 

 

Denise Louder

Denise Louder is the group’s main point for sales and business information. Louder is a technical sales engineer with more than 25 years of experience specializing in the sales and service of heavy lifting equipment.

Nabholz’ corporate offices are in Conway, Arkansas, with the Railroad and Industrial headquarters in nearby Little Rock, Arkansas. Nabholz’ industrial division has offices in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Connecticut, allowing for quick response to clients in any part of the United States.
