Texarkana Regional Airport’s terminal was built in 1960 and could no longer fulfill the airport’s occupancy and service needs. Twice the size of the original, a new terminal was built to provide a better, more modern airport experience for passengers. As construction manager, Nabholz performed the following scope for the project:
- Two story building
- 40,500 SF
- General infrastructure
- Main lobby
- Business center
- Entry ticketing hall
- Departure lounge
- MEP and specialty systems
- Drainage
- Security related items
- Baggage handling equipment installation
- TSA equipment installation
- Room for future expansion
Construction began in Summer 2021 and the terminal opened to the public in Summer 2024.
