Texarkana Regional Airport New Terminal

Texarkana Regional Airport’s terminal was built in 1960 and could no longer fulfill the airport’s occupancy and service needs. Twice the size of the original, a new terminal was built to provide a better, more modern airport experience for passengers. As construction manager, Nabholz performed the following scope for the project:

  • Two story building
  • 40,500 SF
  • General infrastructure
  • Main lobby
  • Business center
  • Entry ticketing hall
  • Departure lounge
  • MEP and specialty systems
  • Drainage
  • Security related items
  • Baggage handling equipment installation
  • TSA equipment installation
  • Room for future expansion

Construction began in Summer 2021 and the terminal opened to the public in Summer 2024.
