Nabholz oversaw the complete renovation of two dormitories for the University of Central Arkansas. The original project schedule was 18 months, but with the COVID pandemic rapidly changing housing needs on college campuses, our client needed the space in 12 months. Through aggressive scheduling and coordination, Nabholz and its partners were able to meet this deadline.
The renovation included:
• Demolition
• New mechanical systems
• Renovations of bathrooms in all areas, including new plumbing
• New electrical systems
• Lighting
• Doors and hardware
• Finish fixtures
• New or repaired flooring in all areas, which included installing polished concrete and LVT, and restoring terrazzo
• New countertops, sinks, paint, and fixtures; new light fixtures; new vinyl base; and new polished flooring in all dorm rooms
