An expansion of an existing data center, the goal of this project was to provide additional electrical systems and upgrade mechanical systems to return the facility to 2N capacity. The scope of work included replacing 12 CRAH units of various sizes, 64 CRAC units on active data floor, four heat exchangers, five cooling towers, various VFD for mechanical systems that were deemed end of life, cooling system pumps, and twelve 1,000-amp static transfer switches. In addition, we installed a double action interlock pre-action system with Nitrogen corrosion mitigation system, a 1100 KVA UPS modular with 4000-amp system control cabinet, two critical power distribution switch boards, and a medium voltage transfer pair switch gear.
