The Arkadelphia School District received approval for ADE Building Partnership Funding in May of 2022. With this funding, the districts renovated the Peak Elementary School building for students. The 83,048-square-foot-building is located on the campus of the original Peake campus location.
Nabholz performed the following scope for the project as construction manager:
- Administration offices
- 35 classrooms and self-contained classrooms
- Art and music room
- Conference room
- Multipurpose area with rubber flooring
- Three basketball courts with 88 retractable seat bleachers
- Commercial kitchen and cafeteria with food service line
- Stage in cafeteria
- Media center with an outdoor seating area
- Nurse’s office
- Teacher work rooms
- Support area
- Storage rooms
- Restrooms
- Playground with 38,000-square-foot area
- Secured entrances
- 118 parking spots
The project began in November 2017 and was completed in March 2019.
