The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is organized around Trojan Way, a main pedestrian walkway that provides access to all campus spaces. The school contacted Nabholz to renovate Trojan Way to provide a formal organizational element through the center of campus, complete with pedestrian routes, access nodes, consistent materials, and native plants. Ottenheimer Library Plaza was also renovated to act as a centerpiece for the pathway, tying each end of the campus together and providing a social gathering space, and the Bailey Alumni and Friends Center received a renovation to include a new alumni patio.
The project was split into nine phases, where each phase performed work on a different section of the pathway, to minimize disruptions on the active campus. Each phase had associated construction maps (accessed via QR codes on site fencing) and custom directional signage to help students, staff, and visitors navigate to common destinations. Safety was also a primary concern with frequent foot traffic throughout the day. To address this, Nabholz set up nearly a mile of chain-link fencing with windscreens and cross braces to maintain visibility of passing pedestrians and prevent unauthorized access to the construction site.

Construction began in October of 2022 and completed in March of 2025. The newly renovated Trojan Way provides easier navigation and more gathering spaces for students and the community at UALR.
