Nabholz was contracted to renovate the Child Advocacy Network’s new headquarters, transforming a 30,200-square-foot abandoned building into a state-of-the-art facility designed to support child abuse victims and their families. The renovation consolidates essential services under one roof, including forensic interviews, medical evaluations, mental health services, and case management. This central location allows various agencies and professionals to collaborate, streamlining care for children and families in need.
The newly renovated facility features six forensic interview rooms, over 30 offices and meeting spaces, more than 10 exam and consult rooms, and four therapy rooms. A conference center and terrace offer additional functional spaces for meetings and events. The facility is designed with a child-friendly environment in mind, incorporating a playground, doghouse, and more, creating a welcoming space for those seeking care. Additionally, the project includes kitchen and breakroom spaces for staff.
